3-Night Bahamian Cruise

Disney offers a wide variety of cruise itineraries and destinations.  We have taken the 3-night cruise to the Bahamas and added on the 4 day park pass.  The food and entertainment on board is the same quality that you expect from the Disney parks.  

Model Itinerary

Disney Cataway Cay:

Castaway Cay is Disney's private island in the Bahamas.  Castaway Family Beach is a short walk from the boat and has plenty of beach chairs for relaxing around the blue lagoon.  Kids can play on a floating playground or check out snorkeling gear and explore 2 underwater trails.  There are also kayak and boat rentals available.  For lunch you can walk over to Cookie's Outdoor BBQ and eat at the outdoor pavilion.

Nassau, Bahamas:

You can explore the town on your own or book an excursion for the day.  We booked an excursion to visit the Atlantis Hotel.  It's a short bus drive to the hotel grounds.  There you can walk around and explore the hotel property.  In the afternoon, we did some shopping in the outdoor market in Nassau.  
On Board Entertainment:

There are so many activities on board they give you a daily schedule to help you.  There is a kid's club for different age groups, a movie theater, and organized activities throughout the day.  In the evening, there is a Broadway style show in the auditorium.      
Characters:

There is plenty of time during the cruise to interact with all the Disney characters on board.  In the evening, different characters are available for pictures and autographs in the main lobby and the lines move quickly.  There is also a character pavilion you can visit on Castaway Cay.
Interior Cabin:

The interior cabins offer the best value.  The couch folds into a twin bed and there is a pull down bunk bed so you can comfortably sleep a family of four.  During the day, the cleaning staff puts away the top bunk and converts the lower bed back into the couch so you have more room.  The beds will be prepared for the evening while you are at dinner.
