Disney's Hollywood Studios 
From the park entrance, you can walk down Hollywood Boulevard to the Chinese Theatre.  From this central hub you can visit The newly opened Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, and Animation Courtyard.  Hollywood Studios offers a good mix of entertainment options from stage shows like Frozen and Beauty and the Beast to thrill rides like Rock n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror.

Model Itinerary

Getting Started:
If you want to get the most out of your day, you should plan on arriving 30-60 minutes before the park opening time.  If you arrive 15-30 minutes early then head straight to Toy Story Land for Slinky Dog Dash and then Alien Swirling Saucers for the shortest wait time.  If you arrive at park opening or later then you are better off going to Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster which will probably have 5 minute wait times, or ride other Toy Story attraction.  At this time, the Rise of the Resistance requires visitors to obtain a boarding pass to reserve a virtual spot in line.  The boarding pass should be reserved as soon as you enter the park to have the best chance of riding.   
FastPass+:
Disney World has a FastPass+ system available that allows you to save your spot in line and ride at a specified time.  You can reserve up to 3 FastPass selections at a single park for each day of your stay.  The FastPass system has Tier 1 and Tier 2 rides.  Tier 1 rides are the most popular rides and you can only reserve 1 FastPass for the Tier 1 rides.  Check the website for updated information on which rides are in each tier because they are constatnly being updated.   Currently, the Tier 1 rides are Smugglers Run, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Slinky Dog Dash.  Since the newest ride will be Runaway Railway that is probably your best Tier 1 option.  For the other 2 FastPasses I would recommend Toy Story Mania, Rock n Rollercoaster or Tower of Terror.     
Tips:
One of our favorite time saving tips is to use the Single Rider Line.  At Hollywood Studios, there is a Single Rider line at Rock 'N' Roller Coaster and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run .  Using the single rider line means that you can use your FastPass for other rides.  People from the single rider line are used by Disney Cast Members to fill empty seats on the ride.  Please note that your party will be seperated on the ride, but you can wait in line together and can meet back up again at the end of the ride.  You must be age 7 and up to ride as a single rider.  
Restaurants:
Mornings in the parks can be very busy so take the time to sit down for a lunch break to refuel for the rest of the day.  We like to make a reservation at a table service restaurant around 1:30.  Having a reservation can often be faster than standing in line at a counter service restaurant.  Some of our favorite places to eat at Hollywood Studios is the 50's Primetime Cafe and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano.
Nighttime Shows :
Disney's Hollywood Studios offers some of my favorite evening entertainment.  The Wonderful World of Animation and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular take place in the evening in front of the Chinese Theatre.  The shows feature projected scenes on the buildings, lasers, music, and other special effects.  Don't miss the nightly presentation of Fantasmic! Preferred seating is available with dining packages or FastPass.  The show stars Mickey Mouse but also includes Disney Princesses, villians, water features, fireworks and other special effects.
